Ok, that does it. I just removed IE 7 beta 2 from my laptop. This is by far the worst version of internet explorer I ever used. It sucks by all means. The kind of bugs I faced are so annoying to the extent that they made me feel I wanna smash up my laptop.
Some of the bugs I found are:
1.
IE7 and XSLT Thanks to firefox, I was able to open and read my chatlogs.
2. IE7 steels focus while opening a page.
This is REALLY annoying. Imagine you're working or reading something, and all of a sudden IE just pops up taking focus, it gets worst when you're typing something.
3. Cannot view the history of other days other than the current day.
Oh yeah, its true, no history...the only history you can view is the one of the current date...what the....
4. If a request takes a bit of time, IE7 times out.
This is by far the worst bug ever (not sure if its a bug, but I do consider it as a bug). If a request takes a while, IE just times out saying that the page cannot be displayed. Try debugging your web applications with that, its almost impossible, it will timeout each time you try to debug your web application in vs.net.
I uninstalled IE7 beta 2 and went back to IE 6. The only thing thats making me not use firefox is that it takes a lot more memory than a browser should.
I really hope they get these issues fixed by the release, or I will be forced to shift entirely to firefox.
